E. BURNSIDE/NORTHEAST: Yet another one jumps on the brunch wagon: Chef/owner Caleb McBee has announced that his E. Burnside bistro Skin & Bones will begin serving a weekly Sunday brunch on February 12. Also on the menu: A monthly "First Thursday" reservation-only supperclub of sorts, which promises to introduce guests to each month's new menu. [EaterWire]

CENTRAL EASTSIDE: The Pacific Pie Company will celebration National Pie Day (which is apparently January 23, not March 14) with its first-annual pie contest, in which the baking public is invited to submit their best pies by 1pm on Sunday (pre-registration required). One winner in each category (sweet and savory) will see their creation on the Pacific Pie menu throughout the month February. More information here. [EaterWire]

OLD TOWN: WWeek reports that the Old Town space once known as McFadden's will soon become Jones Bar, a new watering hole from Boiler Room owner Nicole Jones. [WW]
