Rumors of My Brother's Crawfish's demise... yeah, you know how this goes. In September 2011, co-owners (and brothers) Kham and Khang Nguyen announced that their Southern seafood spot would permanently shutter after the new year — but today, the Nguyens say they've worked out a new five-year-long lease that will allow the business to remain open for the foreseeable future. According to a Facebook post:

"After announcing our business closure a few months back due to economic conditions and the cost of maintaining such a large lease space, our landlord has been working with us to keep come up with a solution to keep us around... We are glad to say a solution was agreed upon which now allows us to remain open."

Now that the spot will remind open, the Nguyens note that the spot's five-year celebration is scheduled for this March.
