Port Townsend, Wash.'s burger dive Fat Smitty's was, until recently, most famous for the thousands of decorated dollar bills tacked to every available surface. This weekend, with the help of some local Boy Scouts, owner Carl “Fat Smitty” Schmidt took the money down with the intention of donating it. Manager Casey Carson, Schmidt's nephew, estimated it would be about $6,000. In actuality, it came to a grand total of $10,316, which is a lot of bills. Eater National has the video. [-EN-]
