As you may have noticed via the Twitters, season two of Portlandia premiered on Friday night, and the episode featured no fewer than three food-focused clips: The Portland couple Bryce Shivers and Lisa Eversman who can literally pickle anything, a road-trip to a fake California chain restaurant, and comedian Andy Samberg as a flirty, fancy mixologist at N. Russell's Mint/820. (Though as a reader points out, the interiors were shot at Old Town cocktail bar Central.)
His signature drink: a "ginger-based bourbon drink infused with honey, lemon, and charred ice... cherry tomato, lime zest, [homemade bitters]... egg whites, egg shells, egg yellows, and rotten banana," the latter of which is a "secret of the pros."
