Tails & Trotters Retail Plans for Deli, Prepped Foods

The porky purveyors behind Tails & Trotters announced back in August that their long-stewing retail shop (finally) found a home, courtesy a lease in NE Glisan's micro-restaurant complex the Ocean. And though the shop has shot past its original mid-October opening date, in keeping with the comp;ex's "restaurant" theme, T&T will offer more than a to-go butcher's counter. Per an announcement by co-owner Aaron Silverman, the T&T retail shop will also house a deli counter offering decidedly non-kosher sandwiches (bratwurst, porkstrami), and a mini market/pantry with prepared foods (like pulled pork, tomato ragu) available to-go.

Projected opening for the Tails & Trotters retail shop: early November. Expected hours: Monday-Friday, 10a.m. to 7p.m.; Saturday, 10a.m.-4p.m.
