Cocotte's New Hours; PETA's Pick; McMinnville Rising

NORTHEAST—NE Killingsworth's charming Cocotte bistro announced an expansion in hours starting November 1, switching to full dinner service seven days a week. Dinner service begins at 5p.m. nightly, with a late-night happy hour kicking in each evening at 9p.m. (the "Joyeux" happy hour menu will be available all day Sunday and Monday). [EaterWire]

McMINNVILLE—Meanwhile, in wine country, the chef and owner of Community Plate have announced plans to team up for a second restaurant, dubbed Walnut City Kitchen, on SE Stratus Avenue, near the Evergreen Air & Space Museum. Chef Jesse Kincheloe, who took over the kitchen at Community Plate after the departure of founding chef Eric Bechard, will offer a "menu of comfort food favorites inspired by the bounty here in the Northwest," per a press release.
