SW's Market Cuts Dinner Service to Theater-Nights Only

New, 6 comments

Perhaps a troubling sign for ChefStable's three-month-old downtown spot Market: The Oregonian brings news that the Continental restaurant, which took over the former Carafe Bistro space in late July, will cut drastically back dinner service, limiting chef Troy Furuta's evening menu to nights when there's a show at the nearby Keller Auditorium. Monday through Friday lunch service, bolstered by nearby work crowds, will continue as usual, though dinner service has been halted on Saturdays and Sundays.

Per the O, ChefStable owner Kurt Huffman "is currently contemplating several options for Market as he looks for a way to save the bar's budding happy hour." The change is already in effect; more as it becomes available.
