The Portland location of sports-bar chainlet Lil' Cooperstown Bar & Grill has set an opening date: Monday, October 29. The "family friendly" bar, which takes over the long-vacant former Stanford's space on SW Riverplace, promises more than 50 TV screens for sport-watchin' and a menu heavy on staples like sandwiches and burgers. The opening marks the fifth location of Lil' Cooperstown, joining spots in West Linn, Hillsboro, Oregon City, and Newberg. [UrbanWorks]
