The troubled Typhoon! restaurant chain may have shuttered in February of this year, but its dramatic downfall continues. The Oregonian reports that former COO Richard Lee Anderson has been indicted on 22 counts of theft and embezzlement, to the tune of $1 million. In 2011, the IRS filed a tax lien against the Thai chain, and a Portland District Attorney now says that "Anderson collected and kept employees' tax withholdings for nearly two years, leaving Typhoon co-owners Bo and Steve Kline in the dark."
