Last month, local food-PR-man-about-town Tim Parsons (of Silent Partner PDX) sustained a head injury for which he's still recovering in outpatient rehabilitation. This Thursday (October 11), popular Woodstock brunch spot Toast will hold an all-day benefit on Parsons' behalf, donating 20 percent of all brunch and dinner sales to his recovery fund.
