Because visitors to Portland love Portlandy things, Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein have dropped Portlandia: A Guide For Visitors, a companion book to their popular IFC show. It's unclear whether the book can actually function as a useable "guide" to the city, but it does include a handy map to Brunch Village (from the season two finale), as well as the above key to the dining guide — pointing out places with (deep breath): cruelty-free menus, pretend-vampire menus, regionally sourced waitstaff, polyamorous-friendly staff, and places that accept barter or "positive vibes" as payment.
The book's available now from Grand Central Publishing; below, check the book trailer.
