NORTHWEST/ALPHABET DISTRICT—Chef Tony Demes' French restaurant Noisette has undergone a mini-renovation for its first anniversary. The tony, 40-seat spot closed earlier this week to enable installation of carpet and a proper four-seat chef's counter, which gives guests a "complete" view of the kitchen. Noisette has re-opened for business as usual. [EaterWire]

DIVISION/CLINTON—For a non-traditional take on Thanksgiving turkey, Nick Zukin's guisado spot Mi Mero Mole is offering two Thanksgiving tamale specials — filled with turkey in mole or a vegan-friendly butternut squash in mole — available by special-order only. Orders must be placed ahead of time for pick-up on Wednesday, November 21 (the day before Thanksgiving). [EaterWire]

HILLSBORO—The operators of CA-based chain Veggie Grill weren't kidding about their rapid-expansion plans for Portland: Veggie Grill's third local outpost in less than a year will open this Monday (November 19) at Tanasbourne Village in Hillsboro. VG made its Oregon debut at the Cedar Hills Shopping Mall in Beaverton in January of this year, with a downtown location debuting in May. [EaterWire]
