So there's no lake to be found up in those parts (anymore), but Thrillist brings word that Rae's Lakeview Lounge has made its debut on NW 27th and Upshur, near Montgomery Park. Per a press release, the spot's "blue-collar Continental" menu aims for "elevated truck stop Americana with some lowbrow European mixed in quietly" — think comfort food like pot pies, meatloaf, and biscuits and gravy during daily breakfast hours.
