After stepping out of the kitchen six years ago to run the front-of-house — and after the recent-ish departure of chef Anthony Cafiero — Tabla owner Adam Berger announced that he's returned to day-to-day operations in the bistro's kitchen. Per an e-mail blast: "I have decided to to take the restaurant back to my first love and passion, which is all things Italian," Berger says. "I am now making the pasta every day which you will see with an ever rotating selection of shapes, fillings and sauces." The chef change is already in effect. [EaterWire]
