It's been "softly" open for a couple weeks now, but the downtown outpost of Case Study Coffee is celebrating its official grand opening today by doling out free cappuccinos and samples from Bowery Bagels and Nuvrei. The official opening also marks the debut of extended hours: the coffee shop will now be open until 11p.m. nightly, serving a dessert menu of pies and cakes (with a beer and wine menu forthcoming).
