In the wake of Paulabetesgate (celebrity chef hides diabetes diagnosis, continues to hawk unhealthy food, comes clean only with a fat pharma contract in pocket, you know the drill) local chef Ken Gordon will share his own diagnosis story (and how he dropped 40 pounds in six months) in a new recurring column in the Oregonian. Gordon, owner of downtown deli Kenny & Zukes, was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes earlier this year, and the column, titled "Diary of a Diabetic Chef," will feature recipes, tips, and personal narratives. It debuts next Wednesday. [OregonLive]
