Announcing Portland's Hottest Chef 2012: Greg Gourdet

The polls have closed, the votes have been counted, and congrats are in order to Portland's new Hottest Chef: Departure's Greg Gourdet. This tall, lanky pillar of hotness triumphed over runner-up (and Portland's Hottest Female Chef) Mika Paredes of Beast, as well as a whopping 38 other contestants, for this highly illustrious title.

But the game's not over yet. Gourdet will now face-off against the local Hot Chef winners from each of Eater's other host cities in the National Hottest Chef contest that kicks off on Tuesday, February 21. Let's take this one home, folks (or at least beat out Seattle, right?).
