Cart Talk: Guest Chef Edition

Those still mourning the closure of N. Mississippi's Garden State food cart will have a one-day-only opportunity to relive the past: Chef Kevin Sandri (who's currently in the kitchen at the calorie-counting Farm to Fit outfit) will take over downtown's Big-Ass Sandwiches cart next Wednesday (February 8) during lunch service. Among the menu items available: chicken saltimbocca sandwiches with provolone, sage, prosciutto, greens, and marinara; and the Alaskan cod sandwich with nappa cabbage, potato, orange, and salsa verde. Hours for the cart pop-up of sorts: 11am-4pm. [EaterWire]
