Given its tumultuous history, the Typhoon! Thai chain's recent closure unsurprisingly comes with its share of fallout. According to the Oregonian, a former CFO who loaned the chain $750,000 recently filed for bankruptcy, while Thai employees hired under the E-2 work visa program must return to Thailand "as promptly as possible" unless they qualify for other immigration status. Typhoon!'s closure, which was announced over the weekend, affected 200 employees. [OregonLive]
