The "body by pastrami"-slingers at downtown deli Kenny & Zuke's are introducing a new "healthy options" menu in light of chef/owner Ken Gordon's recent diabetes diagnosis. (In an announcement, Gordon says that the menu isn't "aimed at any particular diet, whether high carb or protein-centered... you'll need to decide whether they're right for your needs.") Options include a "trimmed and downsized" version of the K&Z pastrami and corned beef sandwiches, a lean quarter-pound burger served with guacamole and salsa, and a Mediterranean mezza plate. And yes, the usual gut-busting menu is still available as usual. [EaterWire]
