Beaker & Flask's sister bar the Rum Club has a new chef in the kitchen: Le Pigeon alum Jon Anderson has taken the reins, upping the casual food menu (pickled eggs and Chex Mix) with a rotating specials board that features small plates like pork and cherry terrines, Moroccan-spiced beef skewers, and braised beef tongue spaetzle stroganoff. According to Rum Club owner Mike Shea, Anderson will soon launch a monthly food-and-cocktail pairing dinner, beginning in April. [EaterWire]
