Another day, another burger joint. The Oregonian reports that the quick-expanding Joe's Burgers will open its fourth outpost later this summer, inside a new Portland State University dorm still under construction.
The chainlet, owned by Joe Rapaport's JoPa Hospitality Group (of now-shuttered 50 Plates and JoPa Northwest Grill), debuted as a quick-serve burger kiosk in Bridgeport Village in fall 2010. In August 2011, JoPa replaced its Northwest Grill with Joe's Burger & Bar, and a downtown outpost of the burger joint opened earlier this year on SW Fourth. According to the O, the College Station dorm will be complete by late summer.
