April Fool's Day pranks usually range from the terribly unfunny to the flat-out unbelievable, but the folks at Sizzle Pie pulled off a truly brilliant scheme this Sunday: Employees issued 200 bright orange "parking tickets" to vehicles on Burnside, which upon closer inspection, were actually coupons for a free slice. (Later, on Facebook, Sizzle wrote that "Hopefully the free slice makes up for your heart skipping a beat.") Well played, folks. Well played. [EaterWire]
