As per annual tradition, restaurants across the country team up each April for Dining Out for Life, a national fundraiser for HIV/AIDS charities and organizations. Today (Thursday, April 26) is the day of action for 2012's fundraiser, with more than 30 Portland restaurants pledging between 20-30% of profits to Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon's HIV Day Center and Partnership Project, both of which provide programs and services to those living with HIV/AIDS.
Dining Out for Life's official website is conveniently out of commission for today, but a complete list of participating Portland restaurants — including Broder, Lincoln, Ford Food and Drink, and Irving Street Kitchen — can be found on this Facebook page.
