CENTRAL EASTSIDE INDUSTRIAL—Today in meta: a pop-up inside a former pop-up. Kinda. Donut-O-Rama, the downtown pop-up food cart that vacated its temporary cart earlier this year, will team with the formerly pop-up folks at Boke Bowl while owner Greg Slauson seeks a new storefront. Starting this week, the "Boke Bowl Brulée Beignet" will be available on the restaurant's regular menu, and according to Donut-O-Rama's Facebook page, the donut might find its way onto other restaurant menus, as well. Slauson writes: "We will be offering you our creme Brulee Beignet through some of Portland's best restaurants and food carts in the near future." [EaterWire]

DOWNTOWN—Japanese curry house Kale is now offering its kale rice and Doria as frozen, take-home meals available to-go: Chef Makoto Yoshino will package his "Kale @Home" line in frozen portions for two and four people. [EaterWire]
