Continuing the recent trend of restaurants hosting public pre-opening events, upcoming Pearl District spot the Parish — a Cajun and Creole concept from EaT: Oyster Bar's Tobias Hogan and Ethan Powell — will host a weekend's worth of preview events leading up to its official May 22 opening. As previously reported, the duo's downtown concept will feature an upscale take on EaT's New Orleans cuisine, featuring items like jambalaya, po'boys, fried quail, and (obviously) a raw bar with oysters.
This Friday (May 18), the pair will throw a private concert/preview party, with performances by Curtis Salgado and Alan Hager and a spread including a raw oyster bar. On Saturday, the spot will take reservations for a three-course, prix fixe seated dinner (between 5:30-9pm), with the $55 reservation covering dinner, gratuity, and one cocktail. Sunday's preview event (reservations available between 10am-2pm) sees the soft-debut of brunch service, with a $25, two-course prix fixe inclusive of a Bloody Mary. More information about all preview events here.
