Add another name to the ever-growing list of Feast Portland participants: Eater confirms that NYC chef Gabrielle Hamilton — of East Village restaurant Prune — will team with Portland chef (and "good friend") John Taboada (Navarre, Luce) during a collaborative dinner at the upcoming multi-day food festival. Hamilton, a 2010 recipient of the James Beard Award for Best Chef: NYC, is also known for her evocative 2011 memoir Blood, Bones, and Butter.
As previously reported, a few out-of-town guests and participants have been revealed for the Bon Appétit-sponsored event, including Sean Brock (Husk), April Bloomfield (The Spotted Pig), Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo (Animal), author Mark Bittman and food personality Aarón Sánchez. The full line-up (including elusive event details) will be revealed as soon as next week; stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
