1) Division/Clinton: According to its Facebook page, the Townshend Tea mini-chainlet will soon open a new teahouse on SE Division Street, in the same building that will house chef Marco Frattaroli's upcoming spot Cibo. The tea shop currently has locations on NE Alberta and in Bend, Ore.; like its Alberta storefront, the new location will feature bubble teas, 10 blends of chai, and seven types of Brew Dr. Kombucha on tap. Projected opening: mid-June. [EaterWire]
2) SE Hawthorne: The magical world of liquor license applications reveals that baker Tissa Stein will open Tabor Bread in a former medical offer at the corner of SE 50th and SE Hawthorne Street, a stone's throw from Apizza Scholls and the Sapphire Hotel. Per the application, the bakery/cafe will offer beer and wine, "predominantly" during happy hour. [EaterWire]
