CENTRAL EASTSIDE INDUSTRIAL—Simpatica Dining Hall will team with the gluten-free Harvester Brewing for a four-course pairing dinner tonight (Friday, June 29). The entire menu will be gluten-free and feature courses like kielbasa corndogs (paired with an IPA) and braised Piedmontese beef ribs (served alongside Harvester's dark ale). Reservations to the 7:30 seating are $50 and available by calling the restaurant.
NORTHWEST/ALPHABET DISTRICT—Also set for this evening (at 6:30p.m.): Wildwood joins forces with Breakside Brewing for a one-off brewer's dinner, offering six courses and face-time with both Breakside brewers and Wildwood chef Paul Kasten. Among the six courses offered: a pastrami pork belly éclair paired with a Newport summer ale; lamb carpaccio served with an English session brown; and a pan-seared ribeye filet. Reservations are $65, all-inclusive, and are available by calling the restaurant.
N. KILLINGSWORTH—To close out Oregon Cider Week, Saraveza will host two cider tastings. Tonight's event (which starts at 6p.m. shows off the ciders of McMinnville's Carlton Cyderworks), while tomorrow's tasting features pours by Portland's Reverend Nat’s Hard Ciders. More information here.
