1) NE Alberta: Portland's newest cart pod — the mostly Asian-focused Alberta15 (fittingly, it's on NE Alberta and 15th) — made its official debut this weekend. In addition to the previously announced carts like Stumptown Dumplings, Yakinese, Katsu Zoku, and the paleo-friendly Cultured Caveman, the official site reveals that the Shigezo-owned ramen cart Minizo has moved from its downtown digs into the new pod. Hours differ by cart; check the site or official Facebook for details. [EaterWire]
2) Old Town: Dubbed "Portland's first all-retro '80s and '90s danceclub," the 6,000-square-foot Jones Bar debuted over the weekend at NW Couch and 1st, and most strikingly to food-interested folk: The part-bar, part-diner will serve its breakfast menu to late-night and very-early-morning crowds until 5am. Big-Ass Sandwiches' Brian Wood spearheads the menu, which features items like chicken-fried steak, biscuits and gravy (with housemade sausage), and smoked brisket, bacon and pork tenderloin sliders. More information here. [EaterWire]
3) NE Alberta: Per its Facebook page, Sip Juice Bar will open a second cart on NE Alberta for the summer, with hours from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. [EaterWire]
