In an announcement randomly making Friday the Ocean pop-up day, Adam Berger's upcoming micro-restaurant 24th & Meatballs will hold a pop-up lunch service at Old Town's KitchenCru this Friday (June 8), beginning at 11:30 a.m. The promised meatballs (including spicy pork, "chicken parm," and vegan versions) will be available in a variety of sandwiches ranging from $2 (sliders) to $6 (toasted three-ball hoagies with cheese), with mini-salads and sides also available.
