Sterling Coffee Roasters Set to Share NW's M Bar Space

PoMo's Karen Brooks confirms previously published rumors that cult coffee favorite Sterling Coffee Roasters — which is being forced to vacate its NW Glisan kiosk adjacent to Trader Joe's — will soon share NW 21st's M Bar space, creating a hybrid coffeeshop-by-day, bar-by-night combination. Per Brooks, the new partnership has led to a mini-revamp for the M Bar space, and construction is already underway "transforming M Bar with Sterling's signature look: fancy English striped wallpaper, candlelit sconces, old cocktail books, and nattily dressed baristas."

Sterling Coffee Roasters' last day on NW Glisan is June 10, with opening in the new space scheduled for the following day.
