Chefs Caprial and John Pence will offer a sneak preview of their upcoming fried chicken restaurant Basa Basa during a one-night-only pop-up this Friday (June 8) at Abby's Table. The culinary duo will serve up plates of their Asian-style wings (with three sauces, including its signature fresh ginger and garlic), rice, and macaroni salad for $10/plate. Service starts at 6:30p.m. and continues until all 100 lbs. of wings are sold; the Basa Basa "microrestaurant" is set to debut in the Ocean later this summer. [EaterWire]
