WEST END/DOWNTOWN—West End Bikes has a new means of caffeination. WWeek reports that former United States Barista Champion Phuong Tran has opened a coffee kiosk, Maglia Rosa, inside the bicycle shop (where Heart roasters operated a similar, short-lived coffee counter earlier this year). NORTHEAST—Chef Johnna Wares has added a rotating list of late-night specials at her casual bar Barwares. For the rest of the summer, night owls (dining from 10p.m. to 2a.m.) can snack on $1 chicken lollipops (Tuesdays), $1 oysters (on Wednesdays), and $1 off all beer on Thursdays. [EaterWire]
