Micah Camden Opening Downtown Doughnut Shop

Little Big Burger owner Micah Camden isn't content with a burger-only empire. Portland Monthly breaks the news that Camden — the prolific restaurateur also behind Yakuza and the relatively new Boxer Sushi — will soon debut Blue Star Donuts, an artisan doughnut shop, in the same twelve|west building that currently houses Corazón. Per PoMo's Michael C. Zusman:

Blue Star's model calls for scratch-made doughnuts made fresh throughout the day with organic flour, real butter, and natural flavors. ... [Camden] plans to fry raised and old-fashioned-style options in rice bran oil, touted for its relative healthfulness.
