Back on the Corazón front, former chef Chris Israel confirms to Portland Monthly that he has officially exited the West End spot's kitchen, telling editor Karen Brooks of the menu shifts: "Even with a scaled back menu, I took it too personally, trying to honor my background. I didn't want to be remembered as a taqueria." As of last week, the the spot's menu reflects changes by former Tabla chef Anthony Cafiero. [Eat Beat]
