Inside Ruby Jewel's Downtown Location, Now Scooping

The unofficial Summer of Scoop Shops keeps on swinging. Ruby Jewel's second outpost debuted in downtown's West End neighborhood over the weekend, complete with a window-lined candy-making room and in-shop soda fountain. The shop's reclaimed wood walls were sourced from a barn in Silverton, while similarly rustic details include a 10-foot-long antique wooden bench paired and refurbished tables and bronze barn lighting.

Ruby Jewel's downtown shop is now open; hours of operation: noon to 11p.m., daily.
