1) W. Burnside: After a nine-month temporary shutter, East Coast pizza and sandwich spot Tribute's Inc. will relaunch today (Monday, July 9) in its new space on W. Burnside. The longtime family-owned spot was forced to vacate its original building, adjacent to Rose's Bakery on NW 23rd, in October of last year. [EaterWire]
2) Pearl District: Neighborhood Notes reports that Italian restaurant Trattoria Gallo Nero has debuted in the Pearl space that most recently housed Mr. Jolly's Coffee Bar. In addition to a lunch, brunch, and dinner menu cooked up by Florentine chef Davide Filippini, the Tuscan spot features a to-go deli counter offering sliced meats. [NNotes]
3) SE Hawthorne: Portland ostensibly has more than one cheese-focused food cart. Cheese & Crack, parked on SE Hawthorne, made its debut over the weekend, featuring gussied-up versions of the Lunchables snack boxes that children of the '90s devoured during lunchtime. Owner William Steuernagel offers cart-made crackers paired with a curated selection of cheese and charcuterie; more information here. [EaterWire]
