Oswaldo Bibiano Opening Taco-Only Spot in the Ocean

Liquor license paperwork confirms earlier rumors that chef Oswaldo Bibiano (of Autentica and the eight-month-old Mextiza) will open a taco-only micro-restaurant inside NE Glisan's Ocean project. According to the filing, the 26-seat Uno Mas will serve meat, fish, veggie, and chicken tacos from 11a.m. to 11p.m., seven days a week.

Bibiano's project completes the Ocean lineup, which has attracted several seasoned restaurateurs to its mixed-use space, which promises a collective dining environment that lies in between "cart pod" and full-fledged brick-and-mortar. Previously announced Ocean tenants include micro-restaurants Basa Basa, 24th and Meatballs, a brick-and-mortar Pie Spot, and a burger joint by Slow Bar's Rob Hemmerling. More information — including an update on the Ocean's opening — as it becomes available.
