The Oregonian is the first to spot a new downtown dining option: Jackson's Lite-N-Tasty, in the former Doner Kebab space on SW 4th, promises healthier versions of fast-food favorites like burgers and fries (the spot's "unfries" are actually baked, and burger options offer chicken, salmon, and veggie patties in addition to organic beef). But the spot doesn't shy away from a robust dessert menu featuring sundaes, cookies, and cobbler (with all calorie counts displayed for better decision-making). More information here. [EaterWire]
