And now, more BreakingSandwichNews: Ken Gordon will soon add another outpost to his growing deli empire. The Oregonian reports that Kenny & Zuke's will open its third location in the N. Williams space recently vacated by Pix Patisserie. The new concept, Kenny & Zuke's Deli Bar, will offer the expected coffee and bagels in the morning, then transition into a cocktail bar at night (with drinks curated by Ox barman Jamal Hassan and the downtown deli's Robin Barnett).
Kenny & Zuke's opened its first downtown deli in 2007, and followed with its NW SandwichWorks outpost in April 2009. Earlier this year, Gordon converted the sandwich shop into a bagelry, announcing plans for a citywide bagel shop expansion. Per the O, the N. Williams deli/bar already has a tentative opening date: September 12.
