Sure, it's 100 degrees out today, but why not embrace it block-party style? The third-annual Deschutes Brewery Street Fare fetes at 5p.m. today, closing off a section of the Pearl for food cart tasting, beer drinking, and live music, all to benefit Loaves & Fishes Centres. Carts like Prickly Ash, Burgatroyd, Oregon Ice Works, and Gonzo will all pair bites with tastes of Deschutes brews; the $10 entrance includes one food-and-beer pairing, with additional tasting tokens available for purchase.
