Cart Talk: Paleo Edition

culturedcvman.jpg

Because this is Portland, the city's first Paleo-friendly food cart Cultured Caveman debuted two months ago on NE Alberta, and the Mercury files a rare "cart profile" about the spot's early success. Filed in the "good to know" column: "For a menu centered around an extremist diet, it doesn't seem like crunchy hippie grub endured by idealists in search of the perfect bowel movement. It turns out that rich grass-fed beef chili, fried chicken with green pepper aioli... and bacon-kale frittata muffins adhere perfectly to the principles of a paleo diet." [Mercury]
