And now, a quick look inside (artist's renderings of) the West End space soon-to-be home to restaurateur Micah Camden's scratch-made Blue Star Donuts shop, slated for twelve|west building that once housed the now-shuttered Corazón. Construction started on the space this week, and according to Camden partner Katie Poppe, early donut "prototypes" are hitting R&D (for sample: a brioche-yeast doughnut with dark chocolate-cherry glaze and cardamom flakes). Blue Star's projected opening: mid-October.
