After more than two years of scooping gourmet Italian ice in Sellwood and at the D-Street Noshery pod, the Oregon Ice Works cart will permanently shutter at the end of day today. Owner Kevin Bell has sold the cart (but not the water ice brand) in anticipation of a move to NYC — final hours are from noon to 8p.m. (or when the ice runs out). [EaterWire]
