Oregon is known as a culinary mecca, so it only makes sense that it would play host to a world-class celebration of everything that makes the state taste so darn good. On September 20-23, FEAST Portland will take over downtown Portland with a series of culinary events including the Sandwich Invitational, an Asian-inspired night market, cooking demonstrations, conversation and a whole lot of eating and drinking.
Participating chefs include James Beard finalist April Bloomfield, Inaki Aizpitarte of Le Chateaubriand and Top Chef champion Paul Qui. And while you're there, why not get your hands dirty—it's only so often one can take a pig butchery class with the "poet" of butchery Camas Davis.
