1) Old Town: As of yesterday, the once delivery-only Lonesome's Pizza has set up shop in the kitchen of Old Town's Dante's, offering pizza by the slice, extended (daytime!) hours, and lunch delivery to the west side. The spot — known for its super-late-night delivery and pizza boxes adorned with artwork — now offers four varieties by the slice at the Dante's walk-up window (in addition to its full delivery menu), with plans to bump up the menu in a week to six slice options: "basic cheese, basic pepperoni, two specials, a vegan, and possibly a gluten-free," says co-owner Noah Antieau. Lonesome's will keep its currently NE kitchen "at the very least through mid-October, then kind of see how the west side does," Antieau says. "Ideally, we'd like to consolidate." The Dante's/Lonesome's slice window is now open until 2:30a.m., while delivery is now available from 11a.m. to 3a.m. (and 4a.m. on weekends). [EaterWire]
2) Sellwood: A tipster reports that Laurelwood Brewing Co. swung the doors open at its newest Sellwood location this weekend, offering a dozen Laurelwood beers on tap. The Laurelwood SE Public House — on SE Milwaukie near SE Bybee — joins two other Portland-area locations: the flagship brewery on NE Sandy, and a public house inside the PDX airport. [EaterWire]
