PEARL DISTRICT—Several local restaurants are offering off-the-menu specials this weekend for the Feast Portland crowds, but the most Portland-y: Pearl District spot Metrovino will offer its infamous "bone luge" — during which the drinker downs a shot of sherry as it's poured down a marrow bone — for $10, all this week. SWAN ISLAND—Freebie alert: The Mercury's Blogtown reports that Swan Island breakfast spot Tilt — which bills itself as "handcrafted food, built for the American workforce" — is offering free coffee and massive breakfast sandwiches to all bike commuters who stop by the spot tomorrow morning, from 7a.m. to 9a.m. [Blogtown]

HOLLYWOOD—Local grocery chain New Seasons announced today that it'll open a new, 34,500-square-foot store in Portland's Hollywood District, as part of the mixed-use Grant Park Village development. The Portland Business Journal reports that the store — New Seasons' 12th in the area — is scheduled to break ground in 2013. [PBJ]
