[Avila, 9/24/12]
Four local winemakers — Vincent Wine Company, Bow & Arrow Wines, Helioterra Wines, and Division Winemaking Company — have joined forces to open an urban tasting room in the thick of SE Division's restaurant row. The Southeast Wine Collective officially opens tomorrow, offering six wines (by the glass and bottle) from the four collective members, in addition to 14 "guest" pours from Oregon wineries like Johan Vineyards and Fausse Piste. An abbreviated food menu offers cheese (selected by Cheese Bar) and charcuterie (by Olympic Provisions), as well as "daily bites" concocted specifically to pair with wines in the collective tasting flight, which offers one taste from each participating winery.
The Collective's hours of operation: Wednesday to Friday, 3p.m. to 10p.m.; Saturday, 11a.m. to 10p.m.; Sunday, 11a.m. to 7p.m.
