During a recent stop for her book tour A Girl and Her Pig, NYC-based chef April Bloomfield teamed up with Lincoln chef/owner Jenn Louis for a celebratory dinner at the N. Williams restaurant — not to mention a culinary tour of Portland with Louis as the guide. Watch the video journal, which chronicles the duo's trips to Sauvie Island Organics, Breakside Brewery (where Bloomfield gets a behind-the-scenes tour with brewmaster Ben Edmunds), and the curing facility of Olympic Provisions, where Bloomfield hugs owner Elias Cairo and marvels at the "1,800 pounds of salami" in production.
